The Stig hits Durban’s streets ahead of this year’s Top Gear Festival Top Gear’s mystery racing driver, The Stig, was caught checking out Durban’s roads and the Moses Mabhida Stadium, which will host the festival’s famed stadium show next month, as he tested the route for this year’s new look street circuit today. The Stig pushed a BMW M6 and Birkin 7 to their limits in the grounds of the iconic stadium demonstrating his legendary driving

When asked what his experience had been like, he exclaimed: ”That was incredible!” he went on to say, “ It was too short – but Flip – he knows what he’s doing – he is a professional there’s no doubt about that! You feel safe – your safety is never in question. He doesn’t talk or shake hands – all I got out of him was a nod (not sure how I will get that to translate on my radio show!)”.
