A NOTE FROM TYLER

As you sit down and wait for the performance to start-

Look to your left, look to your right, start a conversation with the person next to you.

We are all going to share this night together, even if it is virtually.

If you know me, then you know that I tend to think outside of the box. This recital will embody that. A tremendous amount of thought and work went into each aspect of this performance.

So, as the lights virtually dim and the doors virtually close, open your mind.

I want to give you more to talk about to that person next to you than before the performance began. I want to give you more than music. I want you to hear, think, and feel all at the same time.

To my family, for always supporting me and listening to my crazy ideas. To my love, Jennifer, for being the light of my life and keeping me grounded in bliss and happiness, while always pushing me to keep being “me.” To Aunt Dawn, for always telling me how great of a teacher I would be and for being the perfect example of one. To my friends, for truly making my college career memorable and filled with late-night jam sessions, always being there for me in the form of words and chords. To Dan Arcamone, for spendings hours in a tiny room mentoring me and opening my eyes (and ears) to countless amazing artists and techniques. To all my professors, for enriching my musical career and pushing me out of my comfort zone, specifically Frank Martignetti and Jeffery Johnson. To my peers, for being in the universe at the exact place and time as me.
