Diffie de Villiers bel by 082 522 2577.

The first annual Cape Town Tattoo-athon for charity will be running on Friday 15 June at various tattoo studios across the city. The aim of the event is to raise R100 000 for the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC), a nationwide organisation that provides holistic support for children suffering from cancer and life-threatening blood disorders. Involved in the tattoo-a-thon will be top studios such as Wildfire Tattoos, Sins of Style, Metal Machine, and Mob Inc. CHOC receives no government funding and relies heavily on donations. “Donations and fundraising projects like the tattoo-a-thon are therefore the lifeblood of the organisation,” said Jordan Gray, co-ordinator for the event. The tattoos are all a set size and cost R700. Participants can book their tattoo directly with the tattoo studio and can visit www.tattooathon.co.za to choose an artist of their choice. Call Jordan on 074 191 1234.
