Hello precious readers,

It was with a heavy heart and a roller-coaster of emotions, that I had to say goodbye to my baby brother, Jared, on March 12th . Jared was returning to Two Hills, Canada after eight years of spending time in South Africa.
Jared arrived here, in S.A. shortly after the death of my husband, Bradley, who played a pivotal role in the lives of all my siblings and other family members. My youngest, Aaron, was 6 years old at the time, and finally got to meet and spend time with his uncle. They soon realised that they were two peas in a pod. Bonds with my older sons, Keanan and Brennan, and thereafter,my nephews, Pierce and Cailean, my husband, Hans, my step-children, Kayleen and Cameron, and my married-into-the-family children, Onay and Kamleshan, were strengthened
Jared was always my 'baby'!. He kept me grounded, focused, and determined to make things happen. He was my very first motivation! As he grew older, and even now, he is my go-to guy, my sounding board, and my kryptonite. Family often tease me that rules change, and love rules, when Jared is around.
My sisters and I miss him.We understand logically, and selflessly that he is needed there, and he is more effective for Two Hills Regional Chronicle if he is there, but that does not take away the reality that he is NOT here!!!
So, precious communities of The County of Two Hills, please take care of my brother. The only reason I 'allowed' him ( said tongue-incheek like the typical older sister) to return to Two Hills, was in good faith, knowing that some of the most incredible people live in Two Hills. He loves you, and is determined to serve you in integrity, and diligence.
Until next month, Love always, Niri
