Jesus, in other words, is the reason for Easter being what it is. His death was not just so that our sins could be forgiven or so that we could be in heaven with him. In fact, Jesus' Death was such a symbol of sacrifice in the spiritual realm, that His Death alone had built the bridge between death and God because God is Life. Jesus' Death allowed him, being the sacrifice with no blemish, to be sanctified in human sin so that he could go the land of Sheol . Sheol is a place where the souls of the dead went to after the body died. Jesus went to Sheol and walked down the corridors of Hades to retrieve the cursed keys of death, so that the bridge that was built could be used for us humans who have fallen short of the glory of God.

As a matter of fact , Jesus' death had such an impact, that for over 2000 years later people are still engrossed with His Presence. Jesus' Crucifixion had opened the portal for the dead to be alive in God. It literally shifted heaven and what it once was. In fact the death of Jesus had impacted the entire spiritual world. In the life of Jesus alone, he had fulfilled over 300 Prophecies in just His earthly ministry. In the Old Testament there about 55 prophecies about Jesus coming and the significance of his death.

Jesus had and is still playing a major role in the lives of millions of believers. However that isn't even the tip of the iceberg, because Jesus' role as a human was to train us to be what heaven needs and therefore he uses us as vessels for His Kingdom.

Jesus had mentioned that the Kingdom of God lives within you because your soul is what lives on. Your soul is dependent on what happened on the cross for it to live on afterwards in peace and harmony.

The name Easter only came into play in the late 7th to early 8th century. And it is derived from the Pagan festival called Eostre. The original name for Easter was Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday.

In conclusion, Easter weekend wouldn't have been what it is, if it was not for Jesus, the Christ, and His Crucifixion, that Jesus was and is real; he was so real that he was not just a mere prophet or good teacher, neither was he just a carpenter from the Middle East who had power of a god to heal and do miracles, nor was he a man with fear. He is a part of The Triunal Godhead, Who became flesh, so that in return, he could take sin on as His Own and defeat death and the grave which was our wage for sin.

The existence of Jesus Christ is right before our eyes. Even our calender is built around it BC and AD based on the birth of Jesus. Before that, a historian Gary Habermas lists 39 ancient sources for Jesus and in return numerated 100 supporting facts about his life, teachings, crucifixion, and resurrection. The historical evidence for Jesus' execution is so strong that Gerd Ludemann from Germany said " Jesus death as a consequence of crucifixion is indisputable'. Gerd was an atheist , who later became a christian. An Agnostic Historian Bart Ehrman said " Jesus existed whether we like it or not". In other words, denying Jesus doesn't make him go away, it for one proves that no amount of evidence will convince you to believe he didn't exist~ God's not dead
