World Day of Prayer 2023

On Friday March 3 at 7p.m, 15 people representing four Two Hills churches, Ukrainian Orthodox, Ukrainian Catholic, United Church, and the Fellowship Chapel gathered at the Two Hills United Church to celebrate the Annual World Day of Prayer Service sponsored by the Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada. This year the service was prepared by Taiwan with the theme being, “I Have Heard About Your Faith.” The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement which brings Christians of many traditions together to observe a common day of prayer. Following the service, presented in video format, everyone gathered for a time of refreshments and fellowship. The World Day of Prayer has been supported by the churches here for many years, with each church taking a turn at hosting this event yearly, usually on the first Friday of March. We hope many more will help us celebrate this worthy cause next year.
