The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is a common entrance test for all candidates wishing to study MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and other medical fields in government and private institutions in India, as well as MBBS abroad.
The National Testing Agency administers NEET-UG (NTA). It is in charge of all entrance exams for medical institutes in India, including AIIMS and JIPMER.
NEET is divided into two phases:
Phase 1 and Phase 2. Candidates who took the first phase can also take the second phase, however, they must give up their NEET Phase 1 score.
Eligibility for NEET-UG 2022
To be eligible for admission to NEET-UG 2022, a student must be at least 17 years old or have been born on or before December 31, 2004.
Must have completed 12th grade and received at least 50 per cent for General Category, 45 percent for PwD, and 40 per cent for OBC-NCL/SC/ST in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as primary courses in addition to English.
The maximum age to apply for NEET-UG is 25 years old.
