TWEED COAST Holiday Parks are proud to unveil the newly refurbished Pottsville South Holiday Park and the bookings are running hot. The extensive, $2.8 million refurbishment includes new cabins, a new office, refurbished amenities, improved entry, improved security, increase in number of sites and the introduction of ensuite sites. Tweed Coast Holiday Park’s Unit Coordinator Andrew Illingworth said the park’s transformation was really about making the best use of the natural environment and the gorgeous aspect over Mooball creek. “We wanted to increase the number of cabins available, and improve the standard of the cabin accommodation to not only capture a new market, but also meet what the market expectations are for onsite accommodation in a modern Holiday Park,” he said. “It’s a lovely park and we are all very proud of it. We improved the entrance to make it a more caravan friendly, and we improved in park security with new boom gates so visitors can holiday with peace of mind.” At Pottsville South Holiday Park, visitors can relax in the shade while watching the children splash in the year-round calm waters of beautiful Mooball Creek. Park Manager, Stacey Masula said the feedback has been really positive. “Even from the locals,” she said. “We have day-trippers coming from Brisbane to check it out for future bookings. “We are pretty booked out and have been since we reopened earlier this month. The new cabins are lovely, and reasonably priced, and the whole park is less crowded because of the new boom gates. There aren’t cars driving through and parking anymore. Our guests feel much more secure.” Surf beaches and the village shops are just a short stroll away. The park is perfectly located for family day-trips to many nearby attractions, including 20 mins to Byron and Tweed, and a short drive to Mount Warning. Pottsville South is also the ideal place for all water activities and fishing. For more information, phone (02) 6676 1050 or visit www.tchp.com.au
