Greetings and welcome to Dr Mimms Inc presents Let the Strings Speak Truth I selected this year's theme without knowing the direction it would go Dr Mimms spoke up and requested we use Dr Hardiman's book The Ra-ssurection of Truth From The Chains of Falsehood. The planning team took this challenge on, expressed our thoughts and then our fearless Director designed, molded and birth this production with the understanding that Truth is Truth! Before once upon a time, there was Truth. As a team, we were forced to peel back the onion, allow ourselves to be vulnerable so we could share the authentic message of Truth. We know that Langston Hughes is a safe place as well as each of you in the audience.
This year's show consists of an all local line up, which is of utmost importance to Dr. Mimms, that showcases the talents true to the Pacific Northwest. This year's journey should challenge you and inspire you to lean into truth, understanding that Truth is, period. We can't structure truth according to

self If it's not true, it's false! We can’t have alternative facts
We get to use the power of music, vocals and dance as a healing tool for TRUTH! Thank you Dr. Mimms for continuing to challenge us. Thank you to the entire team and peformers for being instuments of truth for our community and the whole world.

Peace to all.
DOROTHY
