FROM THE COMPOSER:
Last Days of Summer is a reminiscence and movement piece. It’s about a time before a move or taking up a first job or a place in college - a time when you may be saying goodbye to friends or unrequited loves who won’t be going on the same journey as you are about to undertake. These times may have a common thread for us all but may also be somehow different and unique for everyone. In these times, we are also looking ahead into the unknown.
The future isn’t written but it has a soundtrack. It’s your summer - you decide.
