

OUR STORY
The Tuscano Agency began as a wholesale broker in 1970 by our founder, Bill Tuscano. From the beginning, Bill saw the need for a service-oriented, relationship building wholesale insurance broker focused on the needs of independent Pennsylvania agents.
Our first o ce space was on the
front porch of the family home. Bill had been working as a field man for a regional worker’s compensation carrier and understood the needs of the independent agent. It was obvious that agents needed a

wholesaler who would be easy to deal with and give them access to markets and products. For years Bill worked tirelessly to establish the Tuscano brand of friendly service and honest dealings with agencies throughout Pennsylvania. Bill’s son Rob joined the agency in 1980 and his daughter Jinny joined in 1985.
Together they built on this foundation of hard work and their own brand of innovation and management to firmly establish the agency in the PA Excess & Surplus line marketplace.

In 1992 Bill retired. Rob became President and Jinny became Vice President. Rob quickly set out to expand our reach and product the agency operations kept up with Rob’s plans.
Over twenty years later, we are now writing E&S business in 21 states. We have one location, but have employees working in five states. In our first 45 years we’ve had many reasons to celebrate and mark our milestones. Throughout the journey we have made a lot of friends and

MILESTONES
1970
The W.N. Tuscano Agency is founded on the front porch of Bill & Jinny’s family home. Bill hired his first part-time employee who retired 29 years later.
1992
Bill Tuscano retires. Rob and Jinny take on the leadership of the organization.

2003
Launched the Tuscano Toolbox - online tools for our customers to quote business, access policies, and administer their users. toolbox.tuscano.com.
2009
Expanded our underwriting territory with a goal to become a regional wholesaler.
2015
The Tuscano Agency tops 100 employees and celebrates it’s fifth consecutive year as an employee-nominated Pittsburgh Top Workplace
2021
Perpetuation plan is put into action! Robin Tuscano stepped into role as President of the W.N. Tuscano Agency.
Jeremy George becomes Executive Vice President of Partner Relations and Ryan Stabile is Executive Vice President of Underwriting.

FLOOD COVERAGE

Our Private Flood Insurance Program is delivered through AM Best “A” rated insurers. We can o er Primary Flood Limits up to $5 million. The policy wording meets lender compliance, and we provide more options than the NFIP. We are most competitive on tougher flood-prone, higher risk areas.
