What steps are we taking in order to help keep our oceans safe, healthy, and beautiful?
In 2023 we launched our Find Your Ocean - Ocean Conservation initiative in order to help a hard working , ocean saving, conservation organization with donations to their cause.
Our kick off year saw to it that we collaborated with the Reef Restoration Foundation. Based in the Great Barrier Reef region of Australia, RRF was founded after the first coral bleaching event that took place on the Great Barrier Reef in 2016.
The Reef Restoration Foundation works diligently to bring resiliency back to bleached coral reefs by utilizing coral nurseries and trees to bring vitality back to them.
At TUSA, we care deeply about the health of our oceans, reefs, and the creatures that depend on them to live. We believe that the hardworking organizations veritably represent our core values of being: Boundless, Reliable, Fun, and Futuristic.
Our partnership with RRF will not be our last. We will see to it to partner with a worthy organization every year to better our ocean’s future.
In our commitment to help keep our blue world crystal clear, our packaging is now made of eco-friendly recyclable material!
At TUSA, the environment is one of our top priorities. As of 2021 we are transitioning from plastic packaging to all recyclable paper/cardboard packaging.
The new packaging is rolling out now. Be on the lookout for new mask, snorkel, fins, BCD and accessories packaging in your store soon.
Our Promise to You: TUSA will reduce 75% of plastic package waste usage by the year 2025.
Bringing awareness to the cause one step at a time.

TUSA has developed a unique Fitting Ring that has been built into the Mask Skirt. This technology enables the Mask Skirt to mold to all face shapes providing the perfect fit, seal, and underwater experience.
Sync to Head Sizes
Sync to Facial Shapes
Freedom Dry
Freedom Dry enhances comfort and fit by utilizing a revolutionary low friction skirt surface .
The skirt fitting line (shown in red) features a low friction surface that delivers a superior seal and increases the facial area contact patch while significantly reducing excess skin tension. The result is a soft and supple feeling mask with a dramatically improved seal. See Freedom Technology (b).
TUSA has designed the perfect buckle and mask strap. The low profile buckle is slim and light weight. The easy adjustment tangle-free buckle and strap is silent and effortless when making adjustments.
Freedom Technology is a set of four (4) technologies to enhance fit and performance exclusive to TUSA. Freedom model masks feature a dimpled skirt surface with varied silicone thicknesses and stability ridges in addition to a proprietary low-friction skirt surface on the fitting line.
Key areas around the forehead and cheek bones have been designed with dimples which combine to increase the skirt’s softness, flexibility and skin surface contact. This also greatly reduces leakage and enhances comfort.
As water pressure increases a mask will compress inwards toward the face often causing further leakage. Areas under the cheek bones have been reinforced with stability ridges to minimize this compression maintaining ideal skin surface contact.
When in usage, a regulator or snorkel mouthpiece can distort areas of the nose pocket and mouth section causing leakage and discomfort.

c. Fit II: The new Freedom Fit II technology adds strength and rigidness to the skirt for use in tough environments. Of course, it inherits the fit and unprecedented comfort from TUSA’s Freedom Technology. (M1007, M2001)
Three (3) distinct layers combined to produce one superior frame structure. Polyurethane (PuRiMaX) material bumper protection and a cross-beam metal frame structure combined with the superior toughness of the polycarbonate frame bolted together to create a seriously tough mask.
UV 420 Lens Treatment protects against harmful high-energy visible (HEV) light and its potential to damage the Retina. HEV light is not just present on sunny days, but overcast days as well. Therefore, it is extremely important to protect your eyes against UV and HEV light in all weather conditions when diving.
CrystalView optical glass lenses provide superior clarity, color and transmission of light over standard glass lenses used by the competition. Up to 15% of available light can be lost with a standard glass lens due to impurities and reflectivity. TUSA’s CrystalView lenses transmit up to 95% of available light to the diver for clear, crisp vision. CrystalView lenses are used in all PRO models masks
Standard glass lenses can reflect up to 15% of available light reducing vision underwater. TUSA’s AntiReflective (A/R) Lens Treatment decreases internal and external reflected light. This reduction increases light transmission to 95% resulting in significantly enhanced color, clarity, contrast and better overall vision underwater.
TUSA’s UV Lens Treatment provides 100% protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Blocking of the ultraviolet spectrum (under 400nm) provides greater eye protection without sacrificing light transmission or vision.
TUSA Freedom Film anti-fog film will keep your favorite mask fog-free while diving underwater. Made with long-lasting durable material, Freedom Film can be installed easily on any mask and is reusable with proper care.
TUSA’s revolutionary 3D Mask Strap fits snugly against the head’s curvature for superior comfort fit and unprecedented fit. TUSA
Corrective Lenses are offered on several styles of masks. This option allows the diver to choose right and left lens powers in both a variety of diopters for maximum flexibility and for a custom fit.
Clearing a mask has never been easier thanks to our patented Hyperdry system featured on the IMPREX 3D Hyperdry. With the Hyperdry system you simply breathe out through your nose and any water that has accumulated in your mask is forced out through a one-way valve. Once the mask is clear, the valve seals shut.
Panoramic View masks feature a variety of designs offering an incredibly wide field-of-view. Several designs incorporate minimum frame volumes, domed side-windows, reduced frame structures as well as three and four window styles for maximum vision.
The Quick-Adjust Buckle System incorporates a newly-designed low-profile buckle. The result is a compact, lightweight, technologically advanced mask design that can be easily and quickly adjusted for a perfect fit.
TUSA’s Round Edge Skirt features a proprietary round edge cross-sectionally shaped skirt. This rounded edge results in a soft fit that suppresses pressure and reduces creasing left on the face. The “planar fit, instead of linear fit” silicone skirt maintains great fit and unprecedented comfort.
The Five (5) Angle Strap Adjuster allows for a five position micro-adjustment on both the left and right sides of the mask. This enables vertical (up/down) pressure on the face to be delicately adjusted for the optimum fit.
The buckle rotates a full 180 degrees to accommodate varying head sizes for optimum fit. The thin frame and rotation of the buckle allows the mask to be folded into a compact size.
The skirt mounted Five (5) Angle Strap Adjuster and side hold allows for a five position microadjustment on both the left and right sides of the mask, this enables vertical (up/down) pressure and by pulling skirt, this enables horizontal (right/left) pressure on the face to be delicately adjusted for the optimum fit.
The Comfort Swivel adapter makes it possible to slip the mask strap into the slit with no hassles. The two-part construction allows the snorkel to rotate and can be attached in a horizontal position.
1. This mechanism allows the snorkel to swivel to the optimum angle to reduce tension and stress for enhanced comfort and performance (Fig. 2) as compared to earlier models (Fig. 3).
2. Adjustments are made by sliding the adaptor’s position forward or backward - a forward or rearward position may be selected (Fig. 4).
The periphery of the valve always remains at the lowest point even when snorkeling upright at the water surface, so water is easily cleared at all times. It prevents gurgling or sucking water when breathing.
The High Flow Purge design used on TUSA snorkels offers a covered large diameter purge valve for simple, quick clearing, reducing the amount of water remaining in the mouthpiece in an instant.
The Hyperdry Elite maintains superior dry performance and keeps the snorkel completely void of water by quickly and efficiently closing the float when submerged or hit by waves.
Lifting the float will close the valve and prevent water from flooding.
The Hyperdry System keeps the main pipe dry by ejecting water through an independent escape pipe. This unique design utilizes the angle of the snorkel pipe and the resilience of the water surface to eject water.
Travel Friendly
Separate the fin blade from the foot pocket for a compact and lightweight travel-friendly package.
Interchangeable Blade
Interchangeable with other compatible TUSA HyFlex fins.
A standard flat fin inhibits propulsion solely by fault of design. An angle between the heel of the foot and the calf of the leg remains when the leg is extended to kick. This angle causes 10% of the propulsion to be lost. The Angled Blade Design accommodates for this anatomical characteristic and ensures maximum efficiency throughout the kicking cycle. The Angled Blade Design accommodates for this anatomical characteristic and ensures maximum efficiency throughout the kicking cycle.
The heavy duty elastic fin strap provides easy donning and doffing of fins. The quick adjustment accommodates five (5) adjustable positions.
The AFS is anatomically shaped to offer a balance of flexibility and control to increase comfort, power transfer and to significantly reduce heel slippage found in many standard flat fin straps.
TUSA’s EZ strap and Buckle System allows fins to be quickly and easily adjusted with minimal effort. Adjustment can be made while the fins are worn, allowing for a precise fit and ease of removal when necessary.
A proprietary thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compound precisely positioned in an advanced blade and foot pocket structure. ForcElast delivers superior propulsion, efficiency and speed even with moderate power input.
TUSA’s advanced split fins employ propeller-fin technology, which delivers ultra-high performance with a low amplitude rapid flutter kick. As the fin moves through the water its two wing-shaped surfaces create lift and forward propulsion like the wings of an airplane lifting your body. Efficiency is increased while drag and effort is reduced.
The fin blade is made of top quality Polyurethane material that provides a quicker response to movement over rubber and plastic fins.
Multiple performance ridges positioned behind the blade vent reduce resistance, creating a smoother and more efficient kick cycle.
The new harness system holds weight closer to your body improving stability, comfort and control underwater.
By attaching the shoulder belt to the tip of the react panel, it becomes easier to tighten the shoulder belt while making the BC fit closer to your body.
Panels hold the weight off of your waist to maximize balance and comfort through better weight distribution.
Soft & comfortable shoulder padding.
React Waist system
Sliding waist support belt and back-pad that move with your body to create a more comfortable, supportive, customizable fitting harness.
In addition to the basic functions of the RiteTite Buckle, you can quickly change the tank without lifting the BC.
The NEW BB REACT Buoyancy Compensator introduces a new way to dive with the REACT System. By placing weight pockets closer to the lungs, divers will achieve perfect trim with little effort.
A secure single locking integrated weight system that allows you to quickly and easily secure your weight pockets. The A.W.L.S III allows the diver to insert weights into the weight cartridges and load them easily into the front of the BC jacket.
Exclusive to TUSA, the Active Purge Assist is a pneumatically assisted power inflator. Using a piston, the power inflator activates a stainless steel cable connected to the shoulder dump valve. The APA assures a quick response when deflating air from the BC.
The 2nd generation A.W.L.S. continues to enhance TUSA weight integrated BC jackets by incorporating an ergonomic handle grip and quick-lock feature. Release the weight cartridges with ease by simply turning the handle grip vertically 90° in either direction.
The 3D Hybrid Cubic Air Cell combines the features of a wrap-around style BCJ and a back-inflation BCJ into a unique streamlined hybrid design. The air cell offers increased lift capacity over standard back-inflation jackets and a more streamlined, comfortable fit underwater and on the surface.
The Independent Harness System isolates the BC jacket’s harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell inflation/deflation. The I.H.S. prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back.
The RiteTite Buckle is a two (2)-position cam strap for quick and easy adjustment. While the strap is being looped through the buckle, the buckle stays in place without needing to be held. This allows for more control and stability.
TUSA’s Ultimate Stabilizing Harness completely eliminates tank roll and delivers an amazing fit. The U.S.H. securely holds the air cylinder in place with optimally placed rails and brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight.
The Waist Support System significantly enhances comfort and fit by dispersing the weight load around the hips. The W.S.S. integrates the adjustable shoulder harness system with the rear stabilizing plate and cummerbund to effectively unload the hips while ensuring a snug fit.
Designed to better control resistance.
The Advanced Flow System allows ease of air flow and makes air delivery smoother due to the curved housing structure.
The Click Spring Adjustment feature is exclusive to TUSA. It is a five (5) positition adjustment knob designed to better control breathing resistance.
The Teflon Coated Plate prevents “dry mouth.” Condensation forms on the brass plate adding moisture to the dry air released from scuba cylinders.
The Cold Water Ready feature enables the diver to use the regulator in water temperatures below 50° F / 10° C.
The use of a secondary diaphragm and piston sealing the 1st stage preventing contamination or freezing when the regulator is submersed in contaminated or freezing water.
The Ortho-Conscious Mouth Piece feature prevents jaw fatigue. The ridges and flexible material allow the diver to have more control of the mouth piece and reduces tension in the jaw.
A balance chamber added to the regulator 2nd stage, providing equal pressure to both sides of the LP seat greatly reducing inhalation effort.
The Sequence Exhaust Assist System gives the diver less resistance when exhaling due to its unique double exhaust design. The diver experiences smooth breathing cycles reducing air consumption and fatigue.
The Swivel Hose gives maneuverability to the 2nd stage. The hose can rotate 360 degrees allowing it to move freely with the diver’s head motions.
The Venturi Flow Adjustment allows for ease of breathing by controlling the direction of air through the mouthpiece.
This advanced feature allows the diver to preset four individual gas mixtures (Mix 1, Mix 2, Mix 3, Mix 4) from 21-100% for easy switching during the dive.
This feature allows the diver to preset two Nitrox gas mixtures (Mix 1 and Mix 2) for easy switching during the dive as necessary. Mix 1: 21 to 50%, Mix 2: 21 to 99%.
