Function
V-shaped side arm which limits vibration with a wide and intergral structure
The V-shaped side arm secures the lens at top and bottom. Movement when swimming at high speed is restrained and flapping and upturning of the strap prevented.
Project area cut by a further 5% from conventional Blade products
The strap hole has been eliminated to integrate the side arm with the lens. This area has been reduced by a further 5% than the V-120 Blade, providing super low resistance and less drag.

The “SHINARI” Design - Optimal Fit for Racing
Explanation
The joint areas connecting the lens and buckle are made of soft materials so the goggles fit snugly along the contour of the face. Instances of the strap twisting or flapping underwater causing resistance are drastically reduced.
Choose from three different nose bridges
Nose bridges come in three sizes (S/M/L). Choose the perfect fit without sacrificing aesthetics.
*The goggles are standard with a medium-sized nose bridge installed.
Resistance reduction and ideal fit
Resistance is drastically reduced while maintaining ideal fit by employing the new cushion structure that buries the space between the face pad and lens when the goggles are worn.

One-piece construction prevents leaks
A one-piece lens and face-pad construction is utilized, preventing the face pad from losing contact with the skin - a cause of leaks.
Doesn’t easily slip off when diving into the water
The cushion structure buries the space between the SHINARI structure and face pad to reduce water resistance, and thereby lower the possibility of the goggles slipping off when diving or turning in the water.

In only 20 seconds the VIEW Lens system can be turned into goggles equipped with corrective lenses.
This requires only an add-on assembly rather than a complete exchange of lenses, so the goggle does not need to be taken apart. In addition to greatly reducing the assembly time, these goggles are offered with corrective lenses at a lower price than our competitors.
The nose bridge is inserted through the lenses. The side clips are clipped onto the eye cups by applying light pressure.

Clear
Clear lenses are ideal for indoor use and best for extremely low light conditions. Clear lenses are designed to allow maximum light penetration, giving contrast to dark areas and increasing overall visibility.
Smoke
Smoke lenses offer good protection on sunny days or during outdoor training. The smoke tint will filter out most of the light, cutting down on reflections and glare. A brown lens tint is similar to smoke but will allow more light penetration and can be a good alternative.
Amber
Amber lenses are best for medium light and indoor training. Amber allows shadows to appear brighter, and provide better contrast. If you swim indoors or outdoors in slightly overcast or grey weather, an Amber lens is ideal.
Green
Green lenses filter some blue light and enhance contrast in low-light conditions. The green tint offers high contrast and is versatile indoors or outdoors.
Blue
Blue lenses are ideal for indoor training or low light conditions. The blue tint offers high contrast while reducing glare from visible white light.
Pink
Pink lenses are ideal in flat light conditions and recommended for indoor use. The Pink tint helps to enhance depth perception and sharpen features. A pink lens offers little protection in bright light conditions.
Brown
Brown lenses provide good contrast and best-suited for variable light conditions. Brown lenses are good general purpose lenses and like smoke lenses cut down on glare and reflections.

Timeline
1975 - Tabata first manufactured and sold the Falcon SW-550 goggle developed from knowledge gained from swimming masks.
1988 - Tabata began to sell products under the VIEW brand. The V-1 goggle was developed which employed a soft resin material for the face pad instead of the market’s standard sponge pad.
1991 - VIEW became the first brand in the world to develop innovations such as replaceable Rx lenses and “Fog Buster” lens treatment.
1994 - VIEW developed the first children’s specific goggles for ages 3-5.
