I am a music lover, conductor, educator, and collaborator My support and celebration of music creators began in college when I founded my first new music ensemble with Dennis DeSantis named Collegium Novum. I founded TURNmusic in 2014 with an inaugural performance at the Green Mountain Club visitor center Since then, I’ve blended my musical interests and love of all styles to bring new music and artists to our community, including Adam Tendler, Michael Chorney, Claire Dickson, Jessica Pavone and Matthew Evan Taylor
As a conductor, I’ve worked with the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra, Vermont Contemporary Music Ensemble, Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Vermont Youth Orchestra, Middlebury Opera Company, Vermont Opera Theater, Amato Opera Company of New York City, and served as the Assistant Conductor of the Pioneer Valley Symphony.
I direct music programs and love working with students at U-32 Middle and High School in East Montpelier. I live in Waterbury Center, Vermont with my husband Bucky (Tim Buckingham) and our two daughters.
You can find me during the festival playing spoons with Mary Rowell and flute with Hilary Goldblatt. Please say hello. ENJOY THE FESTIVAL!!!

Willverine
Friday, July 19
Late Set at The Phoenix 9-11pm
Willverine, the stage name of Vermont-based producer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist Will Andrews, is a lot of things.
At times Willverine is a one-man band performing dynamic, loop-based grooves At other times Willverine is a platform for group improvisation with some of Vermont’s finest musicians. Whatever the vibe or configuration, the music is always a little weird, deeply heartfelt, and truly one-of-a-kind
Relying on the combination of washed out trumpet, dusty synths, and live-looped percussion, Willverine creates innovative sets of “music mostly made up” throughout the Green Mountain State.
A Willverine set is bound to make you feel something unexpected. Come see for yourself!

Elizabeth Reid is a Canadian-American violist and composer known for her heartfelt and captivating performances, which "delight with old-world and otherworldly charm" (That Canadian Magazine). Her compositions seamlessly blend Renaissance, Baroque, classical, and contemporary sensibilities, characterized by expressive phrasing and a distinctive, resonant tone. Elizabeth’s set for viola and electronics at the Phoenix will juxtapose her compositions with the music of her 21st-century contemporaries.
Recent Review for Conjuring: Viola Music of David Jaeger (2023): "The remainder of the listen belongs to Reid, and it showcases the intricate string manipulation of the diverse 'Six Miniatures For Unaccompanied Viola,' while 'Favour' exits with a quivering, sometimes haunting display of string acrobatics that are as stunning as they are captivating " – Take Effect Review, September 2023

I often find scenes I wish to recreate in paint when adventuring outdoors I enjoy chasing the seasonal light of Vermont in oils and watercolors Plein air painting (French for open air) is how I create my watercolors I find spontaneity by painting what my eye directly sees. When traveling I bring my paints to record the landscapes Oil painting is my studio medium of choice The intensity of the pigments and the fluidity of the paint lends itself to dramatic effects I create my designs from studies, color theory, and imagination. My studio is located at Bolton Valley, visitors are welcome by appointment Private or group lessons are available upon request in painting, stained glass, and screen printing.
