Left to right: Faith Potter, Abby Green and Sarah Klein The Oxford Hills YMCA Gymnastics Team sponsored by the Auburn/ Lewiston YMCA competed in the State YMCA Gymnastics meet at Ellsworth High School on April 25 and 26. In Level 7, Sarah Klein, age 12, placed fourth on bars and beam, seventh on vault, tenth on floor with an eighth place all-around. In Level 6, Faith Potter, age 14, placed first on beam and bars, second on floor, third on vault with a first place all-around. Myia Linck, age 13, placed second on beam, third on bars, fourth on vault, fifth on floor with a third place allaround. A sixth place team trophy was awarded to Level 6. In Level 4, Abby Green, age 9, placed third on vault, fifth on bars, sixth on beam, eighth on floor with a fifth place all-around. Kyleigh Rose, age 9, placed seventh on beam, ninth on vault and tenth on bars with an
eleventh place all-around. In Level 4, Aryona Christiansen, age 10, placed fifth on bars and beam, sixth on vault with a ninth place allaround. Emily Cormier, age 10, placed sixth on vault and eleventh on bars. The YMCA Regional Gymnastics meet was held May 15-16 in Glens Falls, NY. Three gymnasts from Oxford Hills qualified to compete with 44 teams from throughout New England, New York and New Jersey. In Level 7: Sarah Klein placed twelfth on beam. In Level 6 Faith Potter placed third on beam and twelfth on floor. In Level 4 Abby Green placed second on beam and tenth on bars with a sixth place all-around.
