Fishing Derby Quite a Catch The 27th Annual Beaver Park Fishing Derby was a huge success again this year as you can see from the smiles on the little anglers faces. Many of the young anglers caught their first brook trout at Beaver Park on Sunday. The Lisbon Conservation Commission collected donations from local merchants and private individuals to purchase $500.00 worth
of brook trout and $150.00 worth of prizes. Every child present and registered for the Derby went home with a prize. Beaver Park hosted the event which is looked forward to every year. People traveled from as far away as Winthrop, Gardiner, and Portland to participate in this event. ‘Lisbon’s Best Kept Secret’ Beaver Park is being discovered. Thank
