Peter is an epidemiologist who works in the Certificate of Need Program in the State Department of Health. Councilmembers Eileen Swarthout and Michael Althauser were re-elected, with Althauser selected to serve as the next Mayor Pro Tem. The new Mayor and Councilmembers were sworn into office by State Supreme Court Chief Justice Steve Gonzalez at the City’s very first hybrid meeting on January 4.
