Iamdelightedtosharewithyouour 2023ImpactReport,atestamenttothe collectiveeffortsandsharedlaborthat hasshapedTulsaRegionalSTEM Allianceintoaforcewithinour community.
Weunderstandthatthefoundationofarobust STEMecosystemliesinprovidingexceptional experiencesbothinsideandoutsidethe classroom.Whetherthroughschoolprograms, extracurricularactivities,mentorship,or competitivesettings,ourcommitmentremains unwavering—toinspireandprepareallstudents foraSTEM-enabledfuture.
Theheartofoursuccessliesincollaboration— withfamilies,providers,educators,andpartners.I findprofoundmeaningintheconceptofcolabor,anendeavorthatallowsustoshape possibilitiesforouryouth.It’sthispatientand persistentwork,buildingblockbybuildingblock, thatbringsaboutlastingchange.

Through78uniqueeventsandcollaborations,wehaveempowered 921educatorswithprofessionaldevelopmentandfacilitatedover1,000 hoursofmentoringthroughMe&MyMathMentor.Thesupportfrom anexceptionallygenerousfundingcommunityhasenabledusto grantover$300,000,directlybenefitingschoolsandeducation nonprofits,andfosteringaccessibleSTEM experiencesthroughoutOklahoma,thereby shapingthefutureofeducation.

Me&MyMathMentor,amathematicstutoringproject,instillsjoyand asenseofmathematicalconfidencein3rd-gradestudentsinTulsa
In2023,thisprojectengaged94volunteerswhocollectively contributed1,063hourstomentoring.Meaningfulinteractionswith adultmentorsenhancemathskillsandfosterastrongsenseof belonginginSTEM.Byprioritizinghands-onactivitiesandplay, studentsreinforceskillslearnedintheclassroom,promoting academicachievementandasustainedinterestinSTEM.

"FlightNight,hostedinanairplanehangar,offersaunique experiencecompletewithtwoairshows,adronedisplay,a livelyauction,andtherecognitionoffourstandout educatorsfromacrossOklahomafortheirimpactfulworkin STEMeducationequity.Formanyyears,NORDAMandthe SiegfriedFamilygenerouslyspearheadedthismillion-dollar fundraiser.In2023,theyofficiallypassedthetorchtoTRSA.
