LETTERS FROM LEADERSHIP

FROM DR. CAESAR C. ROSS III ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, HEALTH AND WELLNESS

As the new Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs for Campus Health and Wellness, I would like to welcome all students to the Tulane community and invite you to explore what Campus Recreation has to offer. Campus Recreation is a great place for new students to join a health and wellness community and returning students to participate in organized activities, including club sports. And Campus Recreation is one of the largest employers of students on campus!

Please visit Campus Recreation to see what you are missing; and join the Campus Recreation movement to make staying active a part of the Tulane culture!

FROM DR. WENDY WINDSOR DIRECTOR, TULANE CAMPUS RECREATION

Welcome to Campus Recreation! I want to be the first to invite you to engage in the array of opportunities we provide that encourage, support, and promote a thriving Tulane community. We are advocates for health and wellbeing, and it is our mission to provide diverse programming that cultivates active lifestyles in a safe and welcoming environment.

Recreation takes on a variety of forms and meaning, with the ultimate goal being movement or activity. So, I encourage you to take advantage of our numerous offerings. Come to a group exercise class, take an outdoor adventures trip, rent camping or backpacking gear for your own adventure, play on an organized intramural sports team or participate in drop-in play, join one of our 20+ club sports teams, swim laps in our newly renovated pool, or utilize the track. I ask: How will you move this year? The Campus Rec team is here to support a healthier, happier campus.

Come on in and join us. Your movement matters!
