The interior design of WiB is inspired by the concept of "wood block" and will feature the four theme colours of mint, mustard, purple, and red. The store will use various block shapes to create a modular layout that spreads from floor to ceiling to create a dynamic and energetic atmosphere that is distinct from surrounding stores. WiB is operated following the integration of self-serve and staff assistance, we make sure you and your kids are provided with a comfortable shopping experience while still being assisted accordingly when needed. We specialize in puzzle and castle block set combined with educational activities that encourage kids from the age of 2 to 8 years to be physically engaged with our products, getting them away from digital devices.

For this first team project for Semester 4, we were asked to come up with a design strategy in which it covers the requirements of having 2 bedrooms (one for the owners and one for their newborn baby), a big kitchen with maximized storage area for the wife to record her cooking classes and a photography studio for the husband.

Calacatta marble was used for kitchen island and countertop make the whole kitchen area the focal point of the entire first floor. Light tone wood used for kitchen cabinetry and flooring to keep the overall space bright and chic.

Secondary bedroom (Baby room) was sustainably designed, to serve the growing process of their child. We kept all furniture built-in along one side of the room so that the area can be a folding space for the mother but can also be used as a study area for once the child grows older.
