District Board of Directors Meeting 09/27/2023 Board of Directors (BOD) Meeting Tuesday, September 26, 2023 Northern Cochise Community Hospital (NCCH) East Wing Conference Room – 4:00 p.m. Present: David Miller, Chairman Ellen Kauffman, Director Wendy Conger, Director Winfield Thomas, Director Mo Sheldon, Secretary, NCCH CEO Absent: Carol Dunagan, Director Others Present: James Kraykovich, Controller Kalee Retana, Executive Assistant David Miller, Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:02 P.M. Declaration of Conflict of Interest: David Miller requested that if anyone had conflicts, they be stated. No conflicts were declared. Call to the Public: David Miller noted that no members of the public were present. MINUTES Members reviewed the July 10, 2023, District Board meeting minutes. Action: Ellen Kauffman moved to approve the minutes of the July 10, 2023. District Board meeting as presented. Winfield Thomas seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. FINANCIAL REPORT 1. Review and Consider District Financial Statements for the period ending August 31, 2023. Action: Wendy Conger moved to approve the financial statements. Ellen Kauffman seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 2. James Kraykovich reported the Funds Balance at the County Treasurer’s office as $27,722.91. Move the next NCCHD Meeting from January 2nd to January 9th. Action: Wendy Conger moved to change the next meeting date from January 2 nd to January 9th. Ellen Kauffman seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
