I am a not-so-secret admirer of Richard Siken. You can imagine my excitement when I met Siken during the filming of a video for War of the Foxes that helped Copper Canyon Press reach fans from over 35 countries around the world through a successful crowdfunding campaign. We filmed in an old barn converted into a gorgeous artist’s loft, and Richard took the time to talk with me. The opportunity to spend the day with one of America’s greatest poetic minds, and one of my favorite writers, was priceless.”
