Sample Itinerary of Patagonia Enjoy a taste of Buenos Aires before travelling through stunning Patagonia on this enthralling trip. Witness deep blue lakes, grand forests, towering mountain peaks, immense glaciers and a vast array of wildlife on this adventure you’ll never forget. Day 1 Arrive Buenos Aires: On arrival in Buenos Aires you will be transferred to your hotel. Days 2 - 3 Buenos Aires: Enjoy a day tour of Argentina’s capital, visiting some of its famous historical buildings. Stroll around the Plaza de Mayo, home to Casa Rosada, the office of the President of Argentina. Visit La Boca and La Recoleta Cemetery. In the evening you will watch Argentina’s famous dance, the tango, while enjoying a traditional Argentine dinner. The next day is free at your leisure. Days 4 - 5 El Chalten: Fly to El Calafate before travelling onwards to El Chalten. This village is a mecca for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. You have a free day to enjoy the pristine surroundings of Los Glaciares National Park. Days 6 - 7 El Calafate: Travel to El Calafate, located on the southern shore of Lake Argentino. This will be your base for visiting the breath-taking Perito Moreno Glacier. You will have the chance to walk around the glacier and take a boat ride to get a closer look. If you are lucky, you may see blocks of ice crashing into the water below, a process known as calving.

Days 8 - 10 Torres del Paine National Park: Spend three nights in the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park. Choose from one of the many hiking trails, follow a portion of the W route towards the three huge towers and admire the views of Lake Pehoe. Keep your eyes peeled for the regional wildlife, including the elusive puma! You will stay in unique Eco Domes for a once-in-a-lifetime Patagonian experience. You can choose from standard, superior or suite domes. Day 11 Ushuaia: Fly to the most southerly city in the world, Ushuaia. You have the remainder of the day to explore the scenic landscapes. Day 12 Tierra del Fuego: Enjoy a tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park, making the most of its hiking trails. This afternoon you will sail along Ushuaia Bay and the Beagle Channel. Continue to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, home to a cormorant rookery. On your way back, you will get close to Sea Lion Island. Day 13 Buenos Aires: Fly back to Buenos Aires for a final night. This is a great place to get any final souveniers and make the most of the many restaurants. Don’t leave Argentina without sampling the famous steaks and wine!
