The MD/MBA pathway program produces outstanding physicians with an insight into the intricacies of healthcare management systems,

finance, economics and healthcare delivery. This educational background gives physicians an advanced business expertise that enables them to more effectively manage the business of healthcare as they navigate through their professional ventures.

How it Works

GRADUATE MEDICAL SCHOOL WITH AN MBA

Students typically complete the 42 hour MBA (HOM) program in one year. Students attend MBA classes on-line during the gap year between the second and third year of the medical curriculum; starting in summer and ending in the spring semester. Eight hours from the first-year SOM courses are counted toward the MBA degree.
