The week of Homecoming is not only full of festivities during the week at school, the party continues on until the wee hours of the night, every night of the week. Spirit points are awarded to the class that has the highest tum out. It's no wonder the Seniors triumphed again this year.

There was the boys volleyball game and the girls powder-puff game. There was also a movie on the field where we watched the nineteen eighty's classic Ghostbusters. Then, of course, there was the bonfire and the decorating of the gym for the pep-rally. Some may wonder if life would be as exciting without these celebrations probably so. Still, we love to show our Sentinel pride by burning stuff.

Ra h ! Ra h ! R a h ! These Sentinel cheerleaders really know how to get the crowd pumped up and ready for action heerleading ha proved to be a sport all its own. They compete and practice You go girls!

Juruors Serena Irion do and Lyndsey Johnson work hard on the gym decorating night. They say, " We adore homecoming week We love painting beautiful signs. Especially when we have to get down and dirty and wo rk hard to ensure the p leasure of our Junior comrades "

By enior year, they have done it all. They studied the tructure of the Bible freshman year, did "Seton ervice" ophomore year, studied world religions and Chri tian morality junior year and then all of a udden, they are seniors. What's left? By this point, the enior have been developed and molded into mature, knowledgable Catholics. For that rea on, and a a way to ay, "thanks," seniors take the time to give back. Liturgical Art gives them a chance to give back to the Seton Community, by setting up for mass and handling decoration/preparation ta k . Advanced Scripture brings seniors closer to the Bible and provide them with a better understanding of the text. Social Justice is required because it pushes seniors to reach outside of their safety zone of Seton Catholic High School and into a world of the less fortunate. Students are expected to help people that truly need it. Whether it be a food drive, reading to children after school, feeding the hungry or volunteering at a shelter, Seton's goal is that their seniors graduate with a higher appreciation for what they have and a better understanding of the Catholic faith.

They are fine tuned machine and their head coach, Mr. Dennis Clinch, mak s ure that they grow to hav the attribute of quickne , endurance, trength, and the mentality of great runner . With an all tar line-up that could make ev n teve Prefontaine ay, "Whoa, these fellas are fa t," the entinel boy track and field team i taking no pri on r . However, although the glitz and glamour of track and field mo tly belong to the sprinter and di tance runners, our boy' team on the field this year i off the wall! Our guy are jumping higher, throwing farther, and looking Iicker thi year then ever b for

Anyway you look at it, Seton track i bound to be a dominant force in the 3thi year. Hop fully omeday d wn the lin we will ee orne of our eton superstar along id the like of ichael John on and Jes ie Owen .

The years have gone by so fast. It seems as if it was just yesterday that we took you to your first day of school. You have always marched to your own drummer. Keep listening to that drummer as you continue to march into the journey of life. God has always marched with you and will continue to. You are a blessing to us. Remember success is measured by how happy you have made others and yourself.
