Dinner with a Scientist A unique opportunity

Academic Decathlon The Academic Decathlon, a premiere national scholastic competition for high school students, was created to provide opportunities for the challenges of rigorous team and individual academic competition in economics, essay, art, interview, language and literature, math, music, social science, speech and written Super Quiz.

Honor Music Festival

The Junior High Spelling Bee is a competition for 7th thru 9th graders. It provides an opportunity for participating schools to send their top three students to compete for one of two spots in the Annual Competition.

The cardboard challenge encourages students to create “something” using cardboard and other recyclable materials to explore the design and build process through teamwork and problem solving.

Students in grades 5 thru 8 work with their local school’s music educator to qualify to be part of the county-wide Honor Music Festival with guest conductors in choir and instrumental music.
