NORRIDGE MAYOR’S WELCOME Dear Residents and Business Owners: The Village of Norridge offers suburban living while being near the city. Located just east of O’Hare airport, Norridge is near Chicago and many of the expressways making it an ideal location for businesses and residents alike. Norridge continuously proves to be a great place to live and raise your family. Not only was I born and raised in Norridge, my wife and I chose to raise our family here as well. I also run my business in Norridge. The Village of Norridge is driven heavily by its sales tax revenue, which makes up more than 70 percent of our annual revenue. We are currently working with the Harlem Irving Plaza to complete remodeling of the old Carson Pirie Scott store. Leases have already been signed for DSW, Hobby Lobby and Five Below. We also welcomed Chick-fil-A to Norridge in February. Daisy Café and Brunch Café are scheduled to open on Harlem Avenue in summer 2020. We are working with the representatives of the Norridge Commons to develop the old K-Mart location that will start early spring through next year. We are also working with potential developers to develop the old Makray Manufacturing site at Harlem and Montrose. My staff and I are committed to developing retail properties and therefore
