WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME

C

alling Geneva home is an excellent choice. Visitors and residents alike love Geneva, and with good reason. This city maintains its hometown feel while bursting into the future with gusto. Victorian homes and other historical

buildings bring home the idea that while the world can be rapidly growing and developing, it is always important to remember what came before. The tree-lined, well-maintained streets of Geneva’s charming historical district perfectly blend old and new. Fresh new businesses operate out of buildings constructed long ago, while modern facilities also find success in the city’s expanding ventures. Progress in and outside of the downtown area proves that this city is dedicated to provide for its growing population and visitor base. Flanking the Fox River, Geneva provides a beautiful backdrop for its many recreational opportunities. Year-round

festivals, like the annual Swedish Days, celebrate Geneva’s origins and traditions. Trendy shopping and fine restaurants tempt the masses. Residents take pride in their community by contributing time and effort to make Geneva prosper. Involvement in church, community and school activities and projects bring the people of this city closer together to accomplish their common goal of making Geneva an even better place to live for its population of more than 20,000. From its beginnings in the 1830s, Geneva has expanded upon its solid foundation, with excellent healthcare, superior education, beautiful architecture, safe neighborhoods, enriching arts and culture, and continual growth. Welcome to the Geneva family. We are thrilled you have chosen our community to call home.

eneva Community Unit School District 304 continues to build on its “Tradition of Excellence” to prepare its nearly 6,000 students for success in a constantly changing and increasingly globalized world. Collaboration among its 10 schools – one preschool, one high school, two middle schools and six neighborhood elementary schools – helps students reach the district’s vision of developing self-directed, lifelong learners; effective communicators; complex, creative and adaptive thinkers; and collaborative and productive citizens. In Geneva 304, staff and students are

empowered to challenge themselves, try new things and learn and grow from their failures. From kindergarten through 12th grade, we are Geneva Vikings. Geneva School District was ranked among the top school districts in Illinois by Niche, and placed in the top 3% of districts in the country. In addition to its academic success, Geneva 304 students continuously excel in athletics, music, theater and a host of other extracurricular activities.
