There are many wellkept historic homes and neighborhoods ready to welcome new families. And there is also room to grow in Front Royal, as evidenced by the new neighborhoods springing up throughout town, featuring spacious floor plans and lots. Home prices in Front Royal are considerably more affordable than those in the nation’s capital. New homes start in the mid-$200s for a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home. One of the largest benefits of a home in Front Royal is the beautiful surroundings. Lots of over 1 acre are common, and many are in beautiful wooded areas. If you prefer a home with more history, there are many older homes on the market at any given time. Home prices vary from the $200s to the millions, and each home has its own story to tell. There are older homes in town as well as scenic rural farm homes. Whether you are looking for a fixer-upper, a country setting, or a home that has been well-maintained for generations, there is something waiting for you. Real estate taxes in the Northern Shenandoah Valley are lower than those found in other areas of Virginia, another factor making Front Royal a more affordable choice for young families and retirees. The neighborhoods and neighbors in Front Royal are welcoming and warm, whether you come from across town or across the nation.
