Lori Manuel Steed is a Haitian native, born and bred, and lives in Port-au-Prince She is Simbi’s artist and watches over Simbi‘s workshops in Haiti.
Birgit Grossmann Coles is originally from German descent. Birgit married and moved to Haiti in 1995, where she raised her three children and still holds residence in the capital
