Royston makes it to top 8 of Australian Idol comp
Royston Sagigi-Baira, 23, has made the Top 8 of the Australian Idol.
Royston showed his vulnerable side performing I Won’t Let You Go by James Morrison, a song he sang at his mother’s funeral.
After receiving a standing ovation, all judges applauded Royston for showing a raw and vulnerable side to his artistry.
There was not a dry eye in the house when Ricki-Lee also revealed that Royston’s brother Richard had flown down for the show, surprising him in the audience.
Sunday night on Australian Idol: it’s make or break as the Top 8 give it everything they have to prove to the nation along with judges Harry Connick Jr, Meghan Trainor, Kyle Sandilands and Amy Shark why they deserve the title of Australia’s next Idol.
