Punjab Chalo launched to boost Congress chances in polls The campaign was formally launched at a gala event in New York where it was announced that coordinated by Shudh Prakash Singh, around 200 NRIs from Punjab will travel to their home state on January 19 to canvass in support of the Congress party and dislodging the Akali government in the election scheduled for January 30.
