Our Tillicoultry development is situated on the high street, overlooking the Ochil hills and with views of Clackmannanshire countryside.
The development offers retirement housing, providing our tenants with the comfort and reassurance of staff on site for part of the day, while maintaining their desire for independent living.
There are 9 one-bedroom flats, 1 three-bedroom flat and 19 studio flats, spread over three floors with a lift for accessibility. Each flat has fitted kitchen cabinets with space for white goods (tenant’s own) and a shower wet room.
The spacious and comfortable communal lounge is ideal for meeting with neighbours, welcoming visitors, and a place to gather together for social
events. The development has a laundry area, with washing and drying facilities and a separate indoor storage space for mobility scooters and wheelchairs.
The development’s guest twin bedroom is available to visiting family members and friends at a rate of £20 per night.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the development for residents and visitors and pets are welcome.


Community Living
Residents at the development regularly use the community lounge to meet up for tea and toast mornings, to socialise and stay in touch.
There are regular and seasonal activities, such as fish supper nights and an entertainer with music, singing and of course – tea and cakes.
The pretty gardens are well maintained and can be enjoyed by all the residents, who are welcome to do a little gardening of their own.
Security
Our staff are on site Monday-Friday 9.00am2.00pm. Staffing hours are clearly displayed in the development.
There is a secure entry system at the main door to the development. Each room in the flat is equipped with a pull-cord alarm linked to a call centre for emergency assistance. Every flat has a staff call system that connects directly to the development coordinator’s office.
A smoke alarm is installed in all our flats.
Local Services
Our Tillicoultry development has all the local amenities that can be expected from a rural town. From cafes, pubs and independent shops, to parks, and ready access to the Clackmannanshire countryside, this location has something to offer everyone.


Tillicoultry is a vibrant community and the local parish church is home to several groups during the week, including The Sewing Group, Yarn Together, and The Patchwork Group. Other social groups meet for a cuppa and a blether at various times.
The local library in the Ben Cleuch Centre holds a weekly reading group, with books for the group provided by the library itself.
If you are interested in theatre and amateur dramatics, the Coach House Theatre in Alloa is home to the Alman Dramatic Club. Another local club is based in Dollar and both clubs have a vibrant year-round programme of productions.
The town is served by excellent bus connections, with routes to the other Hillfoot villages and Dunblane or Alloa, as well as further afield to Stirling. There is a direct bus connection to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.
For those who enjoy keeping fit, the Alva Academy community campus just 2 miles along the road offers a variety of sports and leisure activities ranging from archery and badminton to table tennis and dancing.
The town has a local walking group that meets regularly, taking advantage of the numerous and varied trails nearby.
The closest public swimming pool is located at the Peak, Stirling which is about 15 minutes away by car.
The Affinity Sterling Mills outlet shopping centre is situated on the edge of town on the banks of the River Devon.
