HAPPY SPRING! GREETINGS FROM TRUDI ... On my daily to do list, I always check out the most recent real estate market activity, continually looking for any new listings that may meet my current buyers needs. While limited inventory and high buyer demand continues to prevail in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys, you will notice that the March 2022 market data shows a lower average sold price in some of the market reports. On a cautionary note, this does not mean that home prices are starting to fall off of record highs. It is truly an indication that more price conscious buyers are starting to fall out of the current market, and wait to see if lower prices surface in the future. Two things are for certain: Keeping current matters! Become aware of local housing conditions. Review the local market comps in this newsletter, prepared by the Aspen/ Glenwood Board of Realtors, and gain an understanding how your home’s value compares to the current market listings and sales. 1. As a potential Seller, you will need to make sure your home pricing is in line with the quality and condition of your home. Pricing is everything, and if your home isn’t priced right, buyers will not make a move. Today’s Buyers want and expect “move-in” ready condition! So plan on fixing that small water leak, repaint or touch-up drywall dings and chipped paint, spruce up the yard, plant a few bushes, and remove all rubble from the yard. Time waits for no one, and this is especially true with the current real estate market conditions. Lemon Tip #2 Clean Chrome Faucets Rub half a lemon directly over hard water spots and mineral deposits. A used lemon is more flexible and may be easier to rub around tight corners. Rinse with clean water and dry with a cloth


Lemon Tip #3 Coffee Pots To give your coffee pot a thorough cleaning (and remove coffee oils), simply pour water and lemon juice into the reservoir. Run a normal cycle and let it sit until it cools. Repeat this if necessary. Then be sure to Run a final cycle with just clean water.

Lemon Tip #4 Cutting Boards After using a cutting board for cutting strong smelling foods like onions or garlic, you can remove the odor with lemon. Clear the board, sprinkle coarse salt on the board and rub the salt in with a half of a lemon.


Lemon Tip #5 Garbage Disposal Use the zest (the outer part of the peel) of about 1/4 of a lemon and drop into your garbage disposal. Turn on the faucet and turn on the disposal for an instant lemon scent. Don’t use large chunks of lemon or the fibers (and seeds) which may damage the disposal.




Lemon Tip #6 Microwave Fill a microwave safe bowl with water and add fresh lemon juice. Microwave on high about 3-5 minutes or until boiling. When the microwave beeps, keep the door closed and let it sit for around 5 minutes. The steam will loosen any food particles and simply clean off food residue with a moist paper towel or a cleaning cloth or sponge.
