Ideal for use as a permanent fence or as an addition to an existing fence with outriggers, the PEL Electrified Sighter Wire will safely keep your horses contained and protected. The 7 mm thick wire is highly visible and designed to help prevent injury in the event of animal entanglement. Should your horse come into contact with the fence or outrigger wire, the smooth polyethylene safety coating will help minimise animal injury.

How can we help with problem travellers?

THE ANTI-SCRAMBLE ADVANTAGE Transporting a horse can be very stressful and dangerous to the animal. Causing damage to themselves and your float.

Scrambling occurs when horses feel unbalanced - in an effort to stabilise themselves they attempt to widen their stance. Whilst attempting this wider stance, they hit the float interior, resulting in wall damage and a lack of travelling confidence. Some horses panic and arrive stressed or exhausted, reducing their performance on arrival. Discomfort whilst travelling can also cause long term loading issues for a horse.

Straight sides prevent horses from spreading their legs, making them feel insecure and causing them to ‘scramble’ against the side of the float.

Our Anti-Scramble trailers feature patented sloped walls, so horses can spread their legs and stabilise themselves around corners during transit. Our horizontally adjustable chest bars fit all horses regardless of size and our vertical bars sit just under their rump for a comfortable and secure journey.

JR WINTON The JR Winton is the smaller option within our Anti-Scramble trailer range, but is longer than most other base models with an internal length of 3,400 mm. Enjoy the peace of mind and comfort the Winton brings you and your horse.

JR LONGREACH 30 cm longer than our JR Winton trailer, the JR Longreach provides extra space around your horse’s head. The bay size remains the same as in our JR Winton trailer. The Longreach also features external doors on both sides and an internal cupboard with external access door.

Our Classic Trailers The JR Classic range of equine trailers are our standard straight load equine float featuring all the benefits of a true JR build. Featuring a fully galvanised, hot dipped chassis and framing, colour steel paint and stone protection these NZ made trailers are built to last. As with all JR trailers, there is a range of products that can be added later as requirements change, such as fold down beds, awnings, and storage options.

JR CLASSIC SL - 2017 EDITION The JR Classic SL is our standard straight load trailer suitable for two horses. Featuring colour steel cladding, and hot dip galvanised chassis and framing these are built to last. Our classic floats feature adjustable rump and chest bars allowing any horse or pony to feel secure while travelling. This economy float is designed to allow for complete customisation depending on your requirements.

JR CLASSIC SLX - 2017 EDITION

JR TRAILERS

The JR Classic SLX is the premium version of our straight load trailer. Featuring all the benefits of the JR Classic SL, but comes with fibreglass front cupboards, an external access door to the front cupboards and a solid rear door.
