Floral ties, squares, socks and suits are a great way to reflect that spring feeling. But there is definitely such a thing as too much floral and mixing and matching. If using a floral tie then the pocket square should be a plain colour. (Pictured: Leoni

Head to Toe Every girl loves a pair of stilettos, but keep them refined. Think a classic open toe or if you love a closed pair, opt for a pointed high heel. Bow Tie it Up Some guys wear ties all week for work, so a great alternative for the races is the bow tie. It’s formal but can be casual depending on the colour or pattern. Every dapper gent should have at least a couple of these in the arsenal.

Two Tones are Better Than One. A great way to jazz up an outfit is to use pants from one suit and wear a jacket from another.
