It's great just ambling around the coves and bays along Salcombe's estuary, it's such a pretty place
If you fancy a boat trip, or wisht to get across to one of the beaches on the other side of the estuary, there are regular services running from Salcombe town.

The walks across Bolt Head are rugged and grand. Photos taken at the time of visiting South Sands Hotel in late February. It's a mini wilderness and you can start walking straight from the hotel door.
