Release Agents Release agents are a substance, usually a liquid, used to coat the belt and walls of the trailer, and its purpose is to reduce the ability of your hauled material to stick to the tub of the trailer. Trout River offers a release agent tank which is filled with a release agent, and then pressurized from the trucks air supply, to enable drivers to spray down their trailers. •

Some release agents will work with many different materials and temperatures An Example of this is using diesel in the asphalt industry, diesel affects the tar, and can cause defects in the finished road
Many environmentally friendly, non contaminating options are available Release agents can be bought in small, or large quantities Many are water soluble, and can be mixed with water to increase cost effectiveness
