Indian Armed Forces are all about rules, pride, discipline, selfless service, and UNIFORM! When we talk about the national cadet corps (NCC) then from the initial cadet stages to the highest rankers, everyone is supposed to carry their uniforms with the utmost precision and manners.

There are certain rules and regulations which are must to be followed when dressing up in an NCC Uniform. If you want to know about them, here are some guidelines:

General rules The uniform must be well-washed, clean, odourless, and well-ironed.

The belt must be tight and in place.

The shirt should always be tucked in properly and only 3 buttons of the shirt must be visible.

NCC DMS Shoes must be properly polished and should not be worn out.

The proud Beret The hackle on the beret must be erect always and should be exactly above the left eye. The length of the hackle must be medium.

The distance between the beret and eyebrow should be one index finger.

The beret must be sharp and the dip at the right ear must be crisp and clear. Dipping the beret in water and pressing it along your right ear gives it a proper and stiff shape.

The arm titles There are common and special arm titles in NCC. These titles must be pinned from inside and four fingers down your shoulder.

The badges that you earn It takes the potential to earn the badges in NCC and if you have, then proudly wear them on your left pocket flap.
