Mandatory Rules By Government Of India For Exporting Of Rice Products The Government of India established the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in 1985 for imposing some rules and regulations on exports of agricultural commodities like rice, wheat, and pulses, etc. The main objective of APEDA is to expand of Indian export market worldwide.

Functions of APEDA in Rice Industry Several functions are done by the organization in the agricultural commodities market which are:   

Upgrade and expansion of agricultural commodities products. Providing solutions to all the export-related products. Standards set for the quality of the products

Additional functions that are set by the organization are   

Training related to rice products. Product manufacturing. Financial assistance.

Rules by Govt. of India for Rice Exporters  

The Government of India set a rule for Basmati Rice exporter. The rule is the registration process is mandatory for all rice exporters in APEDA. Registration-Cum-Allocation certificate is issued for Basmati Rice Manufacturer for shipment of rice and helps to Indian custom for clearance of the products.
