Defence Medical Services (Whittington) Triumph were identified as a key manufacturer who had potential to deliver the project needs. Triumph offered scoping meetings, project management, quality space planning and interior design. Triumph provided furnishings for a variety of areas - all delivered in a very short notice to numerous buildings on a 63 acre site. The brief : to fit-out BBC Worldwide new three-floor Media Centre in London’s White City. Rectilinear floor plates had to be visually separated into eight individual zones per floor; and colour coded as a way finding indicator. Triumph worked with architects and project managers, to introduce a series of colour ways which combined the requisite storage, carpet colours, furniture and graphics into one system that could then define each individual space. Triumph were awarded a contract with the Ministry of Justice, to assist them in rationalisation of their work space facilities. Triumph’s designers worked with the customers Project Team to create a range of furniture, specific to the requirements of the MOJ’s modern and flexible working environment, taking into consideration the different applications that each area is for, and the personnel using them. Bespoke solutions were created for personal storage, touchdown areas and private work stations. This major project for the UK National Audit Office covers nine floors in a prime building one London’s Buckingham Palace Road. It will house nearly 1,000 National Audit Office staff. Triumph provided all furniture for reception, meeting and training rooms, the lecture theatre, cafe and break-out areas. In addition, Triumph supplied storage and recycling equipment, as well as all ancillary lockers and personal desk-side locker trays. Many units were custom developed, designed and manufactured to specifically meet National Audit Office requirements.
