2021 – Q4 – 4th Edition

2021 Business Update Q4 was nothing short of AMAZINGGGG!!

Orders: 736 vs. goal of 726 … 101% of annual goal Deliveries: 808 Deliveries!!!! vs. goal of 800. This is 101% of annual goal!!

Starts: 709 units started vs. plan of 682 NHS Kept Appts: 1350 (WOW!) NHS Phone Calls: 43,064 NHS Sales: 557 We surpassed our overall deliveries goal of 800 with… drumroll please… 808 closings for the year!

That’s the most deliveries we’ve ever had as a division.

Great job everyone!!!

2021 and into 2022 A big shout out goes to our field teams!

Construction, customer care and sales has been facing SO many different challenges, and working through them as a team with Class & Finesse.

Now on to 2022 which will present many challenges as well! With limited supply, high demand and increasing interest rates, we all will have our work cut out for us. Especially with buyers who really want homes even if we don’t have any to offer… which always makes me think of this meme.

Keep up the great work in 2022! We can do this! ☺

2021 Holiday Party Our 2021 TPHIE Holiday Party was one for the books! Carol outdid herself this time. We had dancing, delicious dinner, casino tables, caricature drawings, a mini driving range, a photo booth, and AMAZING raffle prizes. A very merry time was had by all!

Q4 Awards & Recognition Construction South George Reyna George has been an incredible team player since the first day he stepped foot on a Tri Pointe jobsite. Any task or assignment given to him is completed to the absolute best of his ability. George in the 4th quarter was not only able to finish the Westlake community, but was also tasked with going to Overland to help achieve our year end goals there as well. George is instrumental to the success of the construction department, and his can do attitude is much appreciated. Thank you George for all that you do!

Construction North Javier Casillas Javier refuses to be downhearted even under the most incredible pressure. He stands firm and any challenge that he is faced with is never able to affect his attitude. Javier has a unique mind-set that is highly appreciated. He brings a level of enthusiasm to his job that few can. Thank you Javier for all of your hard work!

Customer Care Holis Quinton Holis’ experience and knowledge has been vital in helping us get through the year end push at Altis. He has helped out tremendously when it comes to solving problems in the field. His ability to gain his homeowner’s trust has helped greatly with all of the manpower and supply chain issues we have faced in the field. Thank you Holis for all of your hard work!

Edith Giles Accounts Payable Supervisor

Congratulations ON YOUR PROMOTION! I am very pleased to announce the promotion of Edith Giles from Sales & Closing Coordinator to Accounts Payable Supervisor (Home OfficeIrvine, CA). Edith Giles has been with the company for almost 9 years in March and has worked in the Accounts Payable Department as Senior Accounts Payable Specialist and recently in Closing Services as Sales & Closing Coordinator.

During her short, but successful time with closing services, Edith trained and strived with the full workload she was given within an 8-month time span. Her hard work did not go unnoticed as she contributed to our overall delivery plan in 2021 by closing 320 of our 808 buyers on their new home.

Edith will work closely with Carlee Clink and Katie Fabre to train in her new role starting 1/10/22. Please join me in congratulating Edith Giles on her promotion. Outstanding job!

Ridgeline at Westridge We are once again selling at Westridge! Our Westlake product is now being offered in the new Ridgeline neighborhood with Scott and Nyla heading up sales! This is a new way of selling for us as we do not have any physical model homes onsite at Ridgeline. The team is handling virtual appointments and meeting buyers at Westlake for model tours.

Behind the Drywall Eliant/Customer Service Scores As we start the new year, it’s a great time to reflect on all that we were able to accomplish last year. Over 800 closings for the first time in our division’s history is no small accomplishment! To be able to close that many homes, in the environment that we are in, is something to be proud of! It takes a whole division, working together, and a whole lot of H.E.A.R.T. to be able to achieve our goals, and once again we proved that when we all come together, anything is possible.

As we settle in to the new year, and set our own personal goals and new year resolutions (This is the year I finally use that gym membership!) I would like to challenge all of us to look at the survey data from Q4 and set goals that allow us to regain our rightful spot on top of the division rankings. We have some of the most amazing people in the industry right here in the Inland Empire, and I know we are more than capable of leading the pack! Changes are already underway on the construction side to be able to achieve these goals. Adding more cleans to our contracts, coming up with a winning formula for our HFO/NHO process to ensure a better presentation and delivery, and more homeowner contact points, just to name a few.

This year will have its own unique set of challenges and obstacles, but there is no other team I would want to navigate them with than this group. We have an incredible team here, but you don’t need to take my word for it, here are some of the best customer comments received in Q4.

Let’s Talk… Miracle Morning Have you heard of the The Miracle Morning?

It’s an amazing book by Hal Elrod that our Book Club participants dove into for Q4.

Essentially, it comes down to waking up approximately an hour earlier than you normally would to focus on the 6 “S.A.V.E.R.S”.

Doing each of these for 10 minutes each in the morning is a great way to start your day and set yourself up for success!

Let’s Talk Miracle Morning S – Silence. It’s golden right? For many of us it’s difficult to just slow down and quiet our brains, but the benefits to meditation are immense. Try a guided meditation if you’re new to it. You can also pray or just sit quietly while you relax and quiet the thoughts in your brain.

A – Affirmations. I am amazing, I am worthy, I am strong… Getting in front of the mirror and saying those daily affirmations make such a great impact on our mood and mindset.

V – Visualization. FACT: our brain does not know the difference between a real experience and an imagined one. Cue the power of visualization. Spend time visualizing how you want your day to be, your year, your future… If you can imagine it, you can create it!

E – Exercise. This could either be the easiest one, or the most difficult. Even if you prefer to work out in the evening, it’s key to get the body moving in the morning, even if only for 10 minutes. Do some mobility, yoga, dance, go for a walk or stretch. Anything to get the blood pumping and the body moving!

R – Reading. Dedicate time in the morning to crack open your favorite book. Bonus points for selfdevelopment books. Audio books or podcasts would count too!

S – Scribe. This one is all about getting the mighty pen to paper. Journaling and writing have such a great impact on our lives and there are many ways to go about it. Write down what you’re grateful for, your goals, what you want your day to be like… anything you want!

I am looking forward to helping the company grow and learning how to manage a site efficiently
