Cymorth Menter ar ôl Graddio

Wrth i chi gymryd eich camau nesaf y tu hwnt i’r brifysgol, a ydych chi wedi ystyried gweithio i chi’ch hun; naill ai fel gweithiwr llawrydd neu drwy ddechrau eich busnes eich hun? I lawer o raddedigion PCYDDS, mae entrepreneuriaeth yn cynnig yr hyblygrwydd, y creadigrwydd a’r annibyniaeth y maent yn chwilio amdanynt ar ôl graddio.

Mae myfyrwyr a graddedigion o PCYDDS wedi lansio ystod amrywiol o fentrau yn llwyddiannus; yn cwmpasu’r celfyddydau creadigol, gwasanaethau digidol, addysg, manwerthu ac iechyd. P’un a ydych chi’n bwriadu gweithio’n llawrydd yn eich maes eich hun, ffurfio menter gymdeithasol, neu roi syniad am gynnyrch newydd ar brawf, rydym yma i’ch helpu i wneud iddo ddigwydd.

Pa Gymorth sydd ar Gael?

Yn PCYDDS, mae ein Tîm Menter yn cynnig cymorth am ddim i’ch helpu i archwilio, datblygu a lansio eich syniadau. Fel myfyriwr graddedig, gallwch barhau i fanteisio ar y gwasanaeth hwn am hyd at ddwy flynedd ar ôl cwblhau eich astudiaethau.

Trwy raglen Fenter INSPIRE, gallwch:

• Gael mentora 1:1 a cymorth arbenigol wedi’i deilwra i’ch nodau

• Cymryd rhan mewn gweithdai a digwyddiadau menter rhyngweithiol

• Datblygu’r hyder, y cynllunio a’r sgiliau strategaeth sydd eu hangen i fasnachu

• Gwneud cais am ein Grant o £500 i Fusnesau Newydd i roi hwb i’ch menter

P’un a ydych wrthi’n datblygu’r syniad neu eisoes yn masnachu, gallwn eich helpu i ddilysu eich cysyniad, deall eich cwsmeriaid, ysgrifennu cynllun busnes, a chael mynediad at gyllid a rhwydweithiau perthnasol.

Cyfunodd y fyfyrwraig TAR, Maria D’Angelo, ei hangerdd dros addysgu a natur i lansio ysgol goedwig ddwyieithog wedi’i lleoli yn Rhydaman. Trwy gefnogaeth gan PCYDDS, gan gynnwys ei staff addysgu a’r tîm menter, yn ogystal â grant o £500 i fusnesau newydd, llwyddodd Maria i dyfu ei menter yn wasanaeth dysgu awyr agored cynaliadwy. A hithau bellach yn cyflwyno sesiynau rheolaidd sy’n dysgu sgiliau bywyd gwyllt ac ymwybyddiaeth amgylcheddol i blant, dywed Maria fod rhedeg ei busnes ei hun wedi rhoi’r rhyddid iddi lunio ei gyrfa o amgylch ei gwerthoedd a’i chariad at yr awyr agored.

Enterprise Support After Graduation

As you take your next steps beyond university, have you considered working for yourself; either as a freelancer or by starting your own business? For many UWTSD graduates, entrepreneurship offers the flexibility, creativity, and independence they’re looking for after graduation.

Students and graduates from UWTSD have successfully launched a diverse range of ventures; spanning the creative arts, digital services, education, retail, and health. Whether you’re planning to freelance in your field, build a social enterprise, or test out a new product idea, we’re here to help you make it happen.

What Support Is Available?

At UWTSD, our Enterprise Team offers free support to help you explore, develop, and launch your ideas. As a graduate, you can continue to access this service for up to two years after completing your studies.

Through the INSPIRE Enterprise programme, you can:

• Get 1:1 mentoring and expert guidance tailored to your goals

• Take part in interactive workshops and enterprise events

• Develop the confidence, planning, and strategy skills needed to trade

• Apply for our £500 Business Start-Up Grant to kickstart your venture

Whether you’re at the idea stage or already trading, we can help you validate your concept, understand your customers, write a business plan, and access relevant funding and networks.

PGCE student Maria D’Angelo combined her passion for teaching and nature to launch a bilingual forest school based in Ammanford. Through support from UWTSD; including from her teaching staff and enterprise team as well as a £500 start-up grant; Maria was able to grow her venture into a sustainable outdoor learning service. Now delivering regular sessions that teach children wildlife skills and environmental awareness, Maria says running her own business has given her the freedom to shape her career around her values and love for the outdoors.

MYFYRWYR YMCHWIL SY’N GRADDIO GRADUATING RESEARCH STUDENTS

Doethuriaeth yw’r dyfarniad uchaf y gall prifysgol ei roi ar gyfer cwrs astudio. Mae’n cydnabod bod yr ymchwilydd wedi gwneud cyfraniad sylweddol i wybodaeth ddynol yn ei faes neu broffesiwn. A doctorate is the highest award that a university can make for a course of study. It recognises that the researcher has made a significant contribution to human knowledge in their given field or profession. To achieve a doctorate, a student will have spent years conducting original research and writing a substantial thesis, which will have been examined by experts in their discipline. At the ceremonies, we celebrate the achievements of these Postgraduate Research students. We also recognise those who have supported them along the way, including their supervisors, research collaborators, fellow professionals, staff from across the university, and also family and friends. The fascinating projects listed below give a flavour of the excellent cutting-edge research being conducted right across the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

“Gwnaeth trin arteffactau go iawn a darganfod fy angerdd dros Eifftoleg fy amser yn PCYDDS yn anghofiadwy. Mae’r cwrs wedi caniatáu i mi ddarganfod beth rwyf am ei wneud gyda gweddill fy mywyd.

Ar lefel bersonol, mae cwrdd â fy mhartner yma wedi bod yn brofiad sydd wedi newid fy mywyd.”

“Handling real artefacts and discovering my passion for Egyptology made my time at UWTSD unforgettable. The course has allowed me to discover what I want to do with the rest of my life.

On a personal level, meeting my partner here has been a life-changing experience.”

“Ers oeddwn i’n fach, rydw i wedi caru’r Oesoedd Canol. Roedd yr addysgu’n wych, gyda dosbarthiadau llai yn cynnig cefnogaeth bersonol gan ddarlithwyr. Cefais brofiad ymarferol o gloddio a gweithiais gyda llawysgrifau canoloesol.

Mae Llambed wedi cael effaith barhaol ar fy mywyd. Rwyf wedi dod o hyd i fy hyder, wedi adeiladu cyfeillgarwch, wedi syrthio mewn cariad, ac wedi ennill ychydig o frwydrau cleddyf!”

Isaac Law

BA (Anrh) Archaeoleg

“Since I was little, I have adored the Middle Ages. The teaching has been brilliant, with smaller classes offering personal support from lecturers. I gained hands-on experience in excavation and worked with medieval manuscripts.

Lampeter has had a lasting impact on my life. I found my confidence, built friendships, fell in love, and won a few sword fights!”
