TRINITY FAMILY: Thank you for your interest in supporting Trinity Preparatory School of Florida. Our school community depends upon additional funding to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Trinity Prep Experience that provides transformative opportunities for our students to grow as scholars, artists, and athletes.

Unrestricted gifts to this annual campaign enhance our educational program by supporting the area of greatest need at the current time. Just a few examples of the Trinity Prep Fund dollars at work have included providing students with newer technology, art supplies, scripts for theater productions, sheet music and music stands, athletic scoreboards, sound systems, and extended educational opportunities for our faculty and staff.

Have you attended a parent meeting inside the Kelly Kranze Room? Or walked through Brokaw Hall?

Maybe your student has checked-out the latest Young Adult (YA) book from our Student Resource Center (SRC)? Through the continued generosity of our parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends our campus has literally transformed itself with the assistance of capital giving.

Trinity Prep is announcing a new Corporate Partnership Program this year that will provide businesses a unique opportunity to spread their message while supporting the exceptional programs at our school. Funds raised through corporate partnerships will provide our sixth through twelfthgrade students with quality events, activities, and supplies, enhancing the vibrancy of our campus life.

FUND

A contribution to the Trinity Prep Fund benefits every student and supports the many elements that enable Trinity Prep to offer an excellent education year after year.

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Trinity Prep education, and the Trinity Prep Fund helps bridge the gap. Gifts are applied across the school’s operating budget to fund the highest priority needs of our students, teachers, and school. Importantly, the annual fund dollars are unrestricted, giving the school the flexibility to apply the funds where they are needed most: area of greatest need, tuition assistance, and faculty professional development.

We are grateful for the ongoing support from alumni, current parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff, and friends. While there are many opportunities to support Trinity Prep throughout the year, we ask our families to make the Trinity Prep Fund their first gift every year.

CAMPAIGN FUND While Trinity Preparatory School of Florida has been an extremely cost-efficient college preparatory school for the last 55 years, traditional revenue sources will not support Trinity Prep’s need to continuously improve and maintain its stellar achievement and success with students, families and businesses. Trinity Prep enjoys being the #1 Private High School in central Florida, but our facilities are aging, and future needs for our institution look different than in the past.

Therefore, Trinity Prep will periodically hold capital campaigns to raise funds that will provide new facilities, to undergo necessary improvements, or to help grow the school’s endowment. A recently completed capital project example that has been supported through the generosity of our school community, would be the construction of our middle school building – Brokaw Hall during the fall of 2015.

ENDOWMENT

Imagine making a contribution that will pave the way for generations of students, a lasting impact that can easily be made through the establishment of a Trinity Preparatory School of Florida endowment. Considered one of the most advantageous sources of funding, The Trinity Prep Endowment builds the foundation for long-term stability and success. An individual or family may choose to establish a named fund that will support an area of the school most important to them, support Trinity Prep’s general endowment, or support an existing endowed fund. The principal from these funds is held in perpetuity and invested for long-term growth.

Donors may contribute any amount to an existing endowed program or pool resources with other likeminded individuals or companies to create a new legacy.

Endowments are an excellent way to honor your family, a mentor, or a loved one. Once you have created an endowment, your gift becomes part of Trinity Prep’s heritage and tradition. Your family and the Trinity Preparatory School of Florida have the opportunity to enjoy a long relationship built around something that you believe in and value.

PLANNED GIVING You may also choose a “planned” gift where one purposefully integrates a charitable gift into their overall financial, tax, and estate planning. Trinity Prep has established the Founders Circle to recognize donors who have made provisions for the school in their financial and estate planning.

Why can’t tuition cover every operating expense?

If we were to charge tuition at what it truly costs to educate our students, it would make our school unavailable to many otherwise qualified families.

How does my gift to the Trinity Prep Annual Fund make a difference?

As a donor to the Trinity Prep Fund, you will have a direct and immediate impact on your child’s education this year. Annual fund contributions are spent as part of the school’s annual operating budget in the year they are provided. Every gift makes a difference to the substance and quality of the education your child receives this academic year. Your participation also sends a compelling message to our community that parents believe in our institution and Trinity Prep’s way of education.

Reaching 100% parent participation in the annual fund is a profound statement of support for our

mission and vision. Also, the annual fund is tax deductible.

Is my financial contribution to the Trinity Prep Fund mandatory?

Charitable giving is a private family decision and is never compulsory. But our school’s many successes would not have been possible without the generosity of those who have given in the past. We hope and trust that you will contribute according to your family’s means and make Trinity Prep a philanthropic priority — we are all partners in our kids’ education.

What if I am unable to contribute this year?

We hope you consider making a smaller “participatory” gift to help us in our goal of 100% participation. Also, remember you can make a pledge now to be fulfilled at a later date.

We are all partners in our kids’ education. We have seen gifts from all levels ($100/$1,000/$10,000/ $100,000/$1,000,000). All gifts are significant, and most importantly, we aim for 100% participation.
