LIFT WOMEN’S CONFERENCE—LIFT (Ladies in Faith Together) presents the annual women’s conference on Saturday, March 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Shelby Gardens on Van Dyke in Shelby Township! This year’s multi-generational event features Amy Carroll, a speaker with Proverbs 31 Ministries, who will be encouraging us through her testimony and teaching. We will enjoy a buffet lunch, Christian vendors for your shopping pleasure with door prize drawings. Tickets are $35 if registered by March 8 and $40 from then until March 18. >ENGAGE GOD CURRENT SERMON SERIES:As we enter into a new year many people are looking for a new beginning and a fresh start. What if a fresh start isn’t about new clothes, a new body, a new diet, a new job, a new significant other, or the latest, coolest, trends. What if the fresh start we really need, and want, begins with something old, something that has been around for a long time. Ecclesiastes 1 says, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Join us as we find our fresh start and new beginning in the ancient wisdom of God’s Word and God’s Word Made Flesh – Jesus.  Feb. 16–Begin Again 2020: Slower Before Faster LENT BEGINS—Trinity will make the beginning of Lent with Ash Wednesday worship on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

LENT MIDWEEK SERVICES—There will be mid-week Lenten worship at noon and 7 p.m. throughout Lent. Take a few minutes each week of Lent, to focus your eyes on the cross.

LENT IS COMING AND SO IS A NEW PREACHING SERIES—A Savior Who. . .As we walk with Jesus through the 40 days of Lent; from the solemn worship of Ash Wednesday to the joyful celebration of Easter morning, we see a Savior who displays his love, purpose and power in many ways. We’ll talk about what baptism is, how we do it, why we do it, what our role is, what a parent’s role is and how this all plays out in the “real life” of your home. BIBLE STUDY —“The Gospel of Matthew.” The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) are the

beloved eye-witness accounts of Jesus life while here on earth. They are filled with history, parables, lessons and wisdom for everyday living. Join us as we take an in-depth look at the Gospel of Matthew.

PASTOR-LED BIBLE STUDY —Pastor-led bible study continues. Book of Hebrews will be completed on March 15. The Bible study that follows will be announced closer the completion of Hebrews. Hebrews Bible study runs on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel.

LENTEN BIBLE STUDY – “The Path to the Cross,” a video Bible Study led by teacher, historian Ray Vander Laan. In “The Path to the Cross,” God’s story continues with the intense devotion of his people. Discover how their passionate faith prepares the way for Jesus and his ultimate act of obedience and sacrifice at the cross. We will see how the Essenes and John the Baptist are linked to the desert experiences of Israel’s past. We will follow Jesus into the desert where he was tested, and then we consider the events of the Last Supper, as we better understand the historical, cultural and redemptive context of the Messiah, and his path to the cross. Filmed on location in Israel, Faith Lessons is a unique video series that brings God's Word to life with astounding relevance. 14th ANNUAL MOPS AND MOMSNEXT SCRAPBOOKING CROP FUNDRAISER will be held at Trinity on Saturday, March 28. There will be half-day and full-day and 4- and 8-foot table options.

We will provide cropping space, coffee, continental breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner, desserts and beverages. There will be basket raffles and door prizes. >ENGAGE THE WORLD GROUNDWORK GUATEMALA—On the last weekend of every month from January through June, bring in your returnable cans and bottles! The Groundwork Guatemala team will be able to help you unload them. The team will use the money raised to help purchase supplies for their trip in July. Save those cans and bottles for the next collection on Feb. 22/23.

HABITAT FAITH BUILD REBOOTS THIS SPRING—Macomb Habitat’s 2019 partnership with Thrivent Financial to build a home ran into many obstacles. It has been moved from SCS to Garfield Street in Roseville, and is being rebooted to start this month through early May. February Saturdays will lay the floor deck and raise the walls. Tuesdays and Saturdays from they will put the home together. A schedule is posted on the Impact Missions board in the foyer, and available at the Volunteer Calendar at macombhabitat.org to sign up. No experience necessary, age 17 on up. Questions?

HARP MISSION 2020 – THANK YOU to the 38 members from Trinity’s HARP Mission Team, LERT, Boy Scouts and our congregation who assembled 221 flood buckets and 295 hygiene kits. This mission is always in need of supplies to build these kits so feel free to donate as you are able. Our donation bins are near the Nurse’s Office. Our next event will be STUFF THE TRUCK. May 11–16 is for donation pick-ups and the semi-truck will be loaded May 15/16. We will need volunteers for this event. Our trip to Caldwell, Ohio will be June 14-19. Prayerfully consider if God would lead you to help to build up those who are in the most need. Trinity Women's League sells Rada products as a continuous fundraiser (not limited to certain dates.) There's a special website to use for online ordering on each catalog cover which provides for Women's League to receive funds. Rada offers cutlery, dozens of kitchen utensils, food mixes and an unbelievable selection of books. And the best part of all of this is that funds raised by Women's League are donated to support missions and local nonprofits. Last near that support totaled over $9,000; please help us raise even more this year! >SCHOOL AND EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER DO YOU HAVE GENTLY USED BOOKS: During the month of March, our students are celebrating reading. Students will participate in Trinity’s first ever “Book Jog,” which will allow them to increase their personal library. These books will come directly from the book donations. If you have books that are no longer read, please bring them to the school office or library.

REENROLLMENT AND ENROLLMENT—Trinity students currently in kindergarten through eighth grade as well as their siblings should now reenroll for next year. New students, including those entering kindergarten, will begin enrolling on March 1 on a first-come, first-served basis.

>ANNOUNCEMENTS MEMORIAL PLAQUE—We have placed a beautiful remembrance plaque with our columbarium. You can now permanently memorialize a loved here at Trinity. For $300 you will receive a 2”x4” engraved tag with your loved one’s name, birth and death dates. Trinity will also make a $200 donation to your choice of Hardt-Rathe Scholarship Fund, Trinity Building Fund, an IMPACT Mission or the Human Care Fund, in your loved one’s name. FIFTH ANNIVERSARY – Trinity Christian Counseling celebrates it’s five year anniversary serving our church and the community. In February, 2015 we opened our off-site location in the Olympia Spa and Salon building, 117 Cass Avenue in downtown Mt. Clemens.
