Arts in Action Fund raising for the first phase of the Perkinson Arts Center renovations started with a hands-on evening showcasing student creativity. Friends gathered November 8, 2012, to watch student and faculty artists, actors and musicians demonstrate their talent and craft. In addition, the evening honored Baxter and Elaine Perkinson, whose lead gift to Trinity has made the project possible. The renovation of Carpenter Gymnasium into the visual arts and music departments is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2013.
