The Perkinson Arts Center will provide a home for Trinity’s vibrant and dynamic arts programs. A generous leadership gift of $1 million from Trinity trustee Dr. W. Perkinson, Jr. and his wife Elaine set this project in motion. In order to complete Phase II, Trinity will be looking to its community of donors for continued support. IIa. Carpenter Gym, Trinity’s oldest building, will be renovated to house the music and visual arts programs. Work is scheduled to begin in May of 2013. IIb. Trinity’s theatre will be expanded and renovated. The theatre is home to Morning Meeting, where the entire school community gathers each day. A new lobby and gallery will be added to showcase student artwork. IIc. Theatre fly space will be added to the backstage area.
