Kyle Boston I love God and am grateful to have a church home here in Phoenix. I cannot carry a tune and do not have a musical bone in my body, but absolutely love the music at Trinity. I am 61, married for 21 years to the kindest person I have ever known. We have one toy poodle, who likes to attend Trinity. I was in business for 30 years, 10 years self-employed in the handmade greeting card business and 20 years in the specialty chemical distribution business. (These could not be more diverse industries or careers). I am originally from Amarillo, Texas and spent 1999-2018 living in Houston. I have lived in 10 different places and Houston was our home for a long time. We were members of Saint Dunstan’s Episcopal in Houston, where I was confirmed in 2016, although I have attended the Episcopal church since I was married in 1999. I grew up Presbyterian. I am now retired. In the summer, I am often the worship leader at our little outdoor non-denominational church at our mountain cabin in Eagle Nest, NM. I know I can offer the cathedral chapter my personal sense of responsibility and a willingness to learn and contribute. ~~

Sean Bryan Hi I'm Sean Bryan, and I'm a candidate for the cathedral chapter. I am a lifelong Episcopalian, and I have been a member of Trinity Cathedral since 2014 when my wife Sarah and I moved to Phoenix. I'm lucky to be involved in several ministries here at the cathedral, including the visual arts group and being a lay reader. I hope to bring experiences from those ministries, as well as skills from my professional experience in electrical engineering and project management, into supporting what the cathedral chapter does to further the current and future work of the Cathedral.

Rocko Cook I began my journey with Trinity on Christmas Eve, 2013 and have truly found a community that loves and supports me, not as they wish me to be, but as I am. Since then, I joined the Cathedral in 2015 and have served as co-leader of the Trinity Community of Hope, sub-Deacon, reader, member of the Hospitality Team. In my work life, I am the Director of Community Services at the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS and am very active in my community of friends. I strive to love others as Jesus has loved us, not by how we are hoped to be, but how we are today. ~~

Teresa Hare During the past 7 years I have been attending (most frequently) the 8 a.m. service at Trinity Cathedral. Since attending the Cathedral I have completed the first year of EFM, supported many ministries, enjoyed study opportunities, and traveled with Trinity to The Holy Land. I have been a lifelong Episcopalian and served in leadership roles in the past. Contributing to my faith community has been a vital part of my spiritual life.

Phoenix has been my home for over 40 years, and I live in North Central Phoenix with my husband Tracy and our two dogs. My hobbies include morning walks with Tracy and our two dogs, gardening, long walks, peaceful music, Masterpiece Theatre and reading a good mystery. For the past 20 years I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in the fields of addiction, mood disorders, high risk and suicidal clients, grief and loss, and supportive behavioral health services.

Jim Hession I have been a member of Trinity for almost six years after moving to Phoenix. My husband soon joined me at worship and we were married in September 2018. I have worked in health care as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with Honor Health, and I am currently semi-retired after almost 30 years in the field. We live in NE Phoenix with our dog Farrah, and enjoy everything the city and surrounding community has to offer. We especially like going to the Desert Botanical Garden, the Arizona Opera and the hiking trails at many local parks. As I step back from full time work, I hope to become more active at Trinity as well as studying for my Masters degree and working on home improvement projects. I served two terms on Vestry at my former parish in Maryland. I've felt that it was important for lay voices from all perspectives should not only be heard but should also have the opportunity to give back to the parish. I did find the experience to be most rewarding. I hope to have the same opportunity as a Chapter member at Trinity Cathedral. ~~

Matt Jewett Matt Jewett has been actively attending Trinity Cathedral for over a decade. He has chaired the Health Ministries that assisted the community in signing up for health insurance when the Affordable Care Act was implemented, has represented Trinity on the Finance Committee and at diocesan convention, and served an interim appointment on the Chapter before taking a break for graduate school. Matt is a nonprofit healthcare administrator and enjoys traveling and volunteering in the community.

Alison Moran I have been a member of Trinity Cathedral for nine years and have been blessed by my relationships with members of this spiritual community. My faith has grown deeper as I have been challenged to live out my baptismal covenant in my daily work and involvement in the broader Phoenix community. I teach middle school science and I am working on my Doctorate in Educational Ministry from Virginia Theological Seminary. I appreciate the opportunity to continue serving on the chapter because I feel called to support Trinity’s efforts to serve a world in need. ~~

Wendy Weston Wendy Weston was born and raised in the Four Corners area of the Navajo Nation, where she was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church. A graduate of Arizona State University, her career has been in non-profit management, where she was employed at the Heard Museum for 25 years. Weston currently serves as the Executive Director of Cook Native American Ministries Foundation, based in Tempe, that works with American Indian churches and communities across the country. She has been attending Trinity for more than 10 years and is excited to bring her connections with Indigenous people of faith in Indian country, connecting through art and constancy, all reflective of Trinity's diversity.
