Dear Students and Families
Re: Year 11 Examinations
Year 11 Examinations begins on Wednesday 11 September to Friday 20 September (Term 3 Week 8 & 9) to be held in the North Building on campus. This examination period is a valuable opportunity for students to consolidate their learning this year and experience examination conditions firsthand in preparation for the HSC.
Students will undertake examinations for all subjects and a Notification of Assessment for each exam will be distributed shortly which serves as a checklist of the content to be examined.
Please find attached the Year 11 examination timetable and important student information.
Students are required to be at the oval end of the North Building at least 20 mins prior to the exam commencement. Students will be asked to sign in at the exam centre and remain there until the conclusion of each exam. Students are not required at school if they do not have an exam, alternatively they can undertake independent study in an allocated room.
The examinations will be invigilated by our NESA Presiding Officer, and we ask that students are respectful and follow all directions from the NESA Presiding Officer and supervising staff.
If there are any concerns or if students require additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact either the subject teacher, their respective Head of House or myself at the College.
We wish students all the best for their exam preparations.
Kind regards,
Stephanie Davis Dean of Studies – Senior School
