Dear Students and Families

Re: Year 10 Core Examinations

Year 10 Core Examinations begin on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 September (Term 3 Week 8) to be held in the North Building on campus. The examination period is a valuable opportunity for students to consolidate their learning and experience examination conditions which will hold them in good stead for future Year 11 and 12 examinations

Students will undertake examinations for English, Maths, Science and PDHPE and a Notification of Assessment for each exam will be distributed shortly which serves as a checklist of the content to be examined

Please find attached the Year 10 examination timetable and important student information.

The Year 10 examination period is operating on a different timetable and includes some independent study time and the completion of the All My Own Work (AMOW) modules. All Year 10 students must complete AMOW modules in preparation for the commencement of the Preliminary course (Year 11) Further details about these modules can be found HERE.

The examinations will be invigilated by our NESA Presiding Officer, and we ask that students are respectful and follow all directions from the NESA Presiding Officer and supervising staff.

If there are any concerns or if students require additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact either the subject teacher, their respective Head of House or myself at the College.

We wish students all the best for the upcoming exams.

Kind regards,

YEAR 10 EXAMINATION
